Today May 3rd, a few hours ago our CEO Luis Fernandez and our CTO Vicente Chacon have presented the JamonSwap project to the Chainlink community with an AMA in their official Telegram channel.

“Before we get into it, can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your background?”

“My name is Luis Fernández, I am CEO of JamonSwap and I have 20 years of experience in business development, mainly focused on the real estate market, renewable energy and cryptocurrencies, since 2016; date in which I made my first venture along with part of the current JamonSwap team, which was a mining farm, as a result of that investment I began to know the environment of cryptocurrencies and to collaborate with different projects and develop our own projects since August 2020.”

“My name is Vicente Chacón. I’m one of the developers of the JamonSwap team. I am 34 years old and I have been working in the telecommunications sector since I was 23 years old in software programming and network design. I currently run my own telecommunications company and I have been developing decentralised applications for 2 years”.

As always, we are interested to know what makes JamonSwap special?

Yes… we believe that building a huge ecosystem around DEX makes it something quite special, it changes the way DEX, rewards liquidity providers, using a token that is made and used for much more than that, rewarding. Also the ownership of the DEX is decentralised, and this is also something special because the users are the ones who recover the commissions that are made on the DEX. We can also talk about the different ways JamonSwap uses to reward liquidity providers with a limited issuance of new JAMON tokens in circulation of 50 million per year.

Bonds and Farms
Can you tell us a bit more about bonds and farms?

Talking about reward systems for liquidity providers, right now we can find two. Liquidity tokens with a maximum issuance of 50 million JAMON tokens per year. In this case the user exchanges his LP tokens for JAMON tokens with a multiplier of between 1.2 and 1.8 received for every dollar sent to the DEX liquidity between 1.2 and 1.8 dollars in JAMON with a 12-month vesting.
